Anika was studying a physics related field, her particular emphasis being Energy Management. An assortment of physics related fields have been offered by Atraville College, and since it was local with an excellent reputation throughout the world, Anika decided to attend Atraville. With her strong, often sharp personality, she was particularly adept at bossing and often controlling her friends, a trait she would say she had learned from her mother, who was a director of air traffic controllers at Chicago's O'hare Airport. Her father, who had been a pilot in the second gulf war and then for several commercial airlines, divorced the family when she was young. This only served to strengthen Anika's personality, and her resentment, as she saw them necessary traits for survival in her broken family, relating them later to a broken world. She inherited her long, bold nose from her father but her sharp face from her mother, both of which serve accentuate her remarkable management ability. But will they be enough to protect her against a dark force that has gone awry?
Name etymology: Perperam means "false" in Latin, signifying like Todd and Briel, Anika's adherence to and promotion of Dr. Reproba's physics theories, which have been labeled as false by Dr. Veritas.
