Briel was a graduate student studying under Dr. Reproba and a member of the Pravus, which was Dr. Reproba's student organization. He grew up in a wealthy household living in sub suburbia of Chicago. His father had inherited a fortune from an old time internet company started by his grandfather, and his mother was a corporate lawyer. He and Todd Vals had met at Atraville College in their first year while studying under Dr. Reproba, and having a common penchant for causing trouble, they quickly became best friends. Briel had a lean, muscular body with a sloping forehead and long gangling arms, making him amazingly athletic and agile. He always had a quick answer, whether in athletics or with a smart retort, but what good is an answer when darkness cannot hear or feel?
Name etymology: Gimei means “false” in Japanese, signifying like Todd Briel’s adherence to and promotion of Dr. Reproba’s physics theories.
