Dr Trevor Reproba's right- hand man, Todd Vals, was a top graduate student studying under Dr. Reproba and the President of the Pravus, which was Dr. Reproba's student organization. He grew up terribly disadvantaged when his father divorced his mother, not wanting anything to do with their family when she was stricken by a mental condition. Todd overcame these early obstacles to win a full scholarship to the most prestigious physics school, Atraville College. His smooth olive skin, gently curley hair, and smiling charm made him a favorite with the women of the campus and without equal in public relations for the Pravus. With his education and experience, he had great prospects upon his graduation, multitudes of offers pouring in from major corporations. But what good are prospects or charm against a terrible, deadly dark force?
Name etymology: Vals means “false” in an African language, signifying Todd’s adherence to and promotion of Dr. Reproba’s physics theories.
